Here at Poplar Point Resort, we strive to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. Whether it is a family, “the guys” or “the gals” trip, it will be a trip you will never forget. It is our mission to provide you with the best possible service and make you feel like part of our extended Poplar Point family.
We are located 7 miles south of the Town of Red Lake, just an 1/8 of a mile off of Highway 105. Our resort is set on a secluded swollen bay of the Bug River, just a couple of minutes by boat to famous Gullrock Lake. Fishing begins right off the docks and leads you to five great lakes of fishing all accessible by water: Gullrock, Keg, Two Island, Ranger and Red Lake.
You will catch Walleye, Sauger, Perch, Northern Pike, Whitefish and Trout in sizes that run from pan size to trophy.
We have 9 light housekeeping cabins, 6 serviced campsites, tent areas, boat and motor rentals, docking facilities, fuel, licenses, live bait, small store, ice, and freezer service.
Most of our guests drive to camp, but if you wish to fly we will arrange transportation to and from the airport.
